Yes, emergency access to the new Velindre Cancer Centre is a requirement. This will be a controlled access route via the Hollybush estate.

Yes.  We have undertaken a comprehensive exercise to identify the appropriate number of spaces required for the coming years.  This is one of the key elements of our planning application.

Staff and patients will be able to park easily at the new Velindre Cancer Centre so there will be no need to look for off-site parking.  We are aware that this is currently an issue in the local community and we expect to resolve this by building the new Velindre Cancer Centre.

We are currently working on conceptual designs only. We are clear that the height of the new Velindre Cancer Centre will sit below the tree line.

Yes. We are planning for a community café and a learning and innovation centre within the Cancer Centre which will be available to the local community.  We want the new Velindre Cancer Centre to be a community asset which benefits a wide range of people and partners across South East Wales.

Yes.  We are committed to ensuring that the facilities and grounds are seen as a public amenity for use by all.  We will ensure there are footpaths and cycle routes which are fully accessible to the public wherever possible across the site.
